Velká událost pro brněnské swingaře! ⭐ Po roce k nám opět zavítá zahraniční kapela: zářící hvězda festivalů napříč celou Evropou, berlínští The Big Five! 🎷
Jejich aranže těch nejklasičtějších i méně známých swingových standardů šlapou tak, že si večer s nimi užijete, ať už tančíte lindy, solo, balbou nebo shag.
Hrát budou tentokrát v kvintetu ve složení: Johannes Böhmer (trumpeta), Daniel Duspiwa (tenor saxofon), Jack B. Latimer (kytara), Leo Gerstner (bicí), Malte Tönißen (kontrabas).

Combining a propulsive rhythm section, a fiery horn-led frontline, dynamic song-arrangements and swingin' vocals, this international band (France, Germany, Australia) makes a deep-dive into the lesser-known repertoire of the Swing Golden Age - as well as a strong emphasis on original compositions. Ranging in size from the core quintet to the full septet lineup, The Big Five are veterans of Berlin’s famed Lindy-hop and Balboa dance-halls and know how to turn a mild-mannered dance party into a raging frenzy of swing-outs.
